Brazilian Jiujitsu

Brazilian Jiujitsu has it roots from Japanese Jujitsu and Judo. Jiujitsu means “Gentle Way”. The focus of Jiujitsu is ground fighting and “Grappling”. It is the science of effectively taking down a standing opponent, pinning the opponent and submitting him or her by joint manipulation or choke holds. Brazilian Jiujitsu started as a means of “Self Defence” in the streets of Brazil by the Gracie family. Overtime, It has evolved into a “Combat Sport” and is one of the fastest growing Combat Sports of our world today.
